Biography

3 Doors Down bio3 Doors Down stand out as one of the few modern rock acts that managed to score major success across the states in the current millennium.

Their journey began in Mississippi in 1996 with drummer and vocalist Brad Arnold standing out as the group’s only consistent member.

The band worked on forging their craft for a few years and was ready to fully unleash the fury in the year of 2000 with the release of their debut album. Titled “The Better Life,” the record was unveiled in February 2000, and instantly propelled the band into superstardom with such hit singles as “Kryptonite,” “Loser,” and “Duck and Run.”

The record went on to sell over 6 million copies around the world, already securing the band a place among the decade’s top acts.

The success continued with 2002’s “Away From the Sun,” the band’s sophomore studio effort featuring hit single “Here Without You.” Thanks to the success of four single tracks, the record managed to sell over 4 million units worldwide, including 3 million copies in the US alone.

Some say that the band’s strongest period ended here, but their No. 1 album was yet to come with 2005’s “Seventeen Days,” only to be repeated in 2008 with “3 Doors Down.”

Finally, the band’s latest album was released in 2011 under the title of “Time of My Life.”

To this day, the band has sold over 20 million albums around the globe thanks to their distinctive blend of alternative rock, grunge, and good ole hard rock.

Throughout their career, the boys have been touring heavily and managed to establish themselves as a killer live act. Therefore, 3 Doors Down tours and concerts are the event you’ll want to attend if rock lies within your sphere of interests. Keep rocking, and rock steady.
