Garden Gnomes Banned From Foo Fighters Concert at Slane Castle

Foo FightersFoo Fighters have decided to enact a peculiar ban for their upcoming show at the iconic Slane Castle on May 30.

As Independent reports, Dave Grohl and co. have banned garden gnomes from the gig, and the reasons behind such a decision remain unknown.

An MCD spokes person shared the news, noting that he’s not certain whether the gnomes were added to the list “to make sure we read it,” or because the band had some bad experiences involving garden gnomes in the past.

In conclusion, the spokesperson noted that “different bands have different criteria.”

Additionally, the list of officially banned objects includes a few additional items, most notably selfie sticks, umbrellas, and chairs.

So if you’re a garden gnome who enjoys taking selfies, we’ve got some really bad news for you…

But needless to say, the news were mostly met with laughs and giggles, only further raising the hype for massively anticipated upcoming shows.

Speaking of which, the Foo Fighters are spending the majority of 2015 out on the open road, delivering some of the best live shows of their entire career. Click here for a detailed list of upcoming FF shows and additional ticket info and purchase details.
