The band’s career began in 2012 as Connor Ball, Tristan Evans, James McVey, and Brad Simpson joined forces to kick off a stellar journey. Back then, the boys were still in their teens, leading to common comparisons with young pop sensations One Direction.
Their debut single “Can We Dance” saw its release in September 2013, landing at No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and establishing the lads as a strong force of modern British pop music.
Two more singles followed, “Wild Heart” and “Last Night,” raising the hype for the release of the aforementioned debut full-length release.
The group is known for energetic, youthful live shows and attracting predominantly younger audience, much like any fresh pop act should.
Soon after “Meet the Vamps” saw its release, an extended EP titled “Somebody to You” was also presented, garnering the band a significant attention in the States thanks to its self-titled lead single featuring Demi Lovato.
With frequent single releases, clever management, and top-notch songwriters, the boys seem to be ready to take over the world in years to come. So if you’re asking yourself “Which pop band should I see in 2015,” the answer just might be that you should go and buy The Vamps concert tickets online as soon as possible.
At the moment, the world is anticipating the new album from The Vamps, which should see the light of day in the fairly near future. So keep an eye open for these boys, it’s best to catch them live before they start ruling the planet. They’ve only been around for about three years, yet they mean some serious business.
